Family Violence
A person seeking protection from a family member or a person whom they live with can bring a family violence action. If the court finds family violence occurred, a temporary restraining order is issued that can order the offending party to have no contact with the person who brought the lawsuit. Issues of child support, child custody and visitation are addressed on a temporary basis.
If you are concerned about your safety, do not wait for something to happen. Don’t wait, let’s talk. Contact me by e-mail or call me at (678)513-7070.
